Brief: Design the front and back cover as well as the inside pages of a paperback book called Darker Than Fiction, Short Stories by Marcus Bastel.
After reading all of the 7 short stories by Bastel, I came to a realisation that all of the stories had a similar theme. There was something that tied them together. It led to the concept of someone reaching out. To find out what was he reaching out for, one has to pick up the book and find out. The illustration is also set in a forest because a few of the stories took place in the forest. A cresent moon always comes before a new moon. This signifies the last glimmer of light or hope that one reaches out for as shown on the cover.
